Remote & Hybrid Teams + Individual Assessments
Your legal duty of care doesn't stop at the office door.
Remote and hybrid staff, working without oversight of their setup, are often at greater risk of poor posture, unnoticed strain, and burnout, yet DSE regulations apply to them just as much as to your on-site team. I offer the same three-pillar approach, tailored for individuals, wherever they're based.
Align: Mini DSE and Kinetic Posture Assessment: on-site (within 10 miles of Exeter) £150, or via video call £95
Design: Mini Sensory Audit add-on, assessing the individual's home workspace for light, acoustics, and air quality: £90
Refine: Mini 1:1 Workshop, a personalised 30–40 minute coaching session: £80
The Individual Wellbeing Blueprint
Combine all three for a complete, individual-scale transformation, the same standard of care your office-based team receives.
£260 for On-site (within 10 miles of Exeter - Save £60 versus booking separately)
£210 by Video call (Save £55 versus booking separately)
Please note that posture and movement guidance reflects professional coaching observation, not clinical or medical assessment.
FAQs
How does a physical desk setup impact our business bottom line?
1
Poor posture from bad setups leads to chronic pain and repetitive strain injuries.
This triggers costly absenteeism, low morale, and dropping productivity.
Ergonomic workstations keep your team comfortable, motivated, and fully engaged.
We have a limited budget. Can we still improve our office environment?
2
Small structural changes yield massive improvements without costing a fortune.
Repositioning desks for natural light or adding strategic greenery works wonders.
We focus on high-impact adjustments before recommending any new purchases.
Do we have a legal duty of care for DSE assessments as an employer?
3
Yes. If your staff use display screen equipment as a regular part of their job (which covers most desk-based roles), the DSE Regulations 1992 place a clear legal obligation on you as their employer to carry out assessments and address any issues found.
Unlike the coworking relationship, this isn't ambiguous: it's a standard part of your health and safety responsibilities, and one many SMEs haven't formally addressed.
What is sensory wellbeing, and why does it matter for my team?
It is how lighting, acoustics, air quality, scents, sounds, colour, pattern, texture, biophilic integration and visual clutter affect the brain.
Poor sensory environments cause quiet distractions, mental fatigue, and headaches.
Optimising these elements directly lower stress levels and increase focus.
4
What does a joint DSE and sensory assessment actually look like?
5
I evaluate physical equipment like chairs, screens, and other devices.
I review ambient factors including noise, glare, and spatial layout.
You receive a practical roadmap tailored to your specific office and budget.
How much disruption does an assessment or workshop cause to a working day?
6
Very little. The Align assessment happens at each employee's own desk in 30–45 minutes, so the rest of the team continues working around it.
The Design audit is a quiet walk-through that doesn't require anyone to stop what they're doing.
The Refine workshop is scheduled in advance as a single session, so you control exactly when it fits into your week.
Do your prices scale with the size of our team?
7
Yes. Align and Refine are priced by headcount (up to 5, up to 12, up to 15 depending on the package), and Design is priced by square footage, with a custom quote for offices over 5,000 sq ft.
If your team sits outside these bands, get in touch and we'll tailor a quote.
Can you help our remote or hybrid teams working from home?
8
They're covered too, and it matters, since DSE regulations apply to remote staff just as much as those in the office, but remote workers often fall outside standard office-based assessments entirely.
The Individual Wellbeing Blueprint delivers the same three-pillar support one-on-one, either on-site (within 10 miles of Exeter) or via video call, so no one on your team is left unassessed.
Your company culture of wellbeing stays strong no matter where people work.
What do we receive afterwards, and is this a one-off booking?
9
Every visit leaves you with documentation you can keep on file:
a compliance report from the Align assessment,
a Digital Sensory Blueprint Report from the Design audit, and
practical takeaway guidance from the Refine workshop.
Most SMEs start with a one-off booking, then rebook annually or as new starters join the team. There's no ongoing contract required.
